The area of installation was at the rear of the property with limited access. One of the criteria of the customer was minimum disruption to the surrounding garden area and an environmentally friendly alternative to concrete foundations. With the garden room being installed in late November and the Scottish weather not being friendly the ground screws provided a quick and sustainable option and allowed the Garden Bothy Company to progress with the build without delay.
No More Digging completed a pre-installation ground survey and provided a suitable layout to suit the sub-frame design being installed by The Garden Bothy Company. A combination of 800mm and 1200mm long ground screws were installed and levelled, providing a suitable foundation to build the sub-frame on top off immediately, meeting all requirements of the customer, including leaving no mess, minimum disruption and allowing the installation of the garden room to progress without any delay
We were amazed at how quick the guys from No More Digging installed the ground screws, they were literally in and out within a morning and with hardly any disruption. We didn’t have to worry about skips and lots of upheaval and mess that would have been the case if we put in a concrete base.
