Challenge

Cherry Group, a regular customer based in Beverley, Hull, required a reliable foundation solution for a new 12m × 4m garden room at a residential property. The scale of the structure meant that the foundations needed to provide a strong and stable base while also allowing the build programme to progress quickly.

As with many garden room installations, minimising disruption to the property and surrounding landscape was an important consideration, making traditional concrete foundations a less desirable option due to the excavation, spoil removal and curing time required.

Solution

The No More Digging North West England team was brought in to install RADIX ground screw foundations to support the garden room structure. Using RADIX PRO RF140 M16 76×1250 T4.0 Ground Screws, the team created a precise and level foundation layout capable of supporting the full footprint of the 12m × 4m building.

The installation was completed efficiently, with the ground screws driven directly into the ground without the need for digging or concrete. This approach kept the site clean and allowed the project to move forward immediately once the foundations were in place.

The finished structure is a Leka Garden Room manufactured by NextGen Fabrication, delivering a high-quality additional living space that complements the stunning property. With the ground screw foundations installed and ready to build on straight away, Cherry Group were able to complete the project smoothly and without delays.
