Challenge
We were approached by Pisgah-based Trydan Will Davey Electrical & AV to support them with the supply and installation of a robust foundation and solar racking solution over an area of sloping ground in their customer's beautifully landscaped garden.
Solution
Due to the sloping ground, 20 RADIX PRO 1550mm and 1250mm Ground Screws were used to ensure a level and secure base for the 8kW Solar Array.
Our team also installed the RADIX SolarTripod Racking System on the perfectly level ground screw foundations.
The whole foundation installation and solar racking system was completed within the day, ready for Trydan Will Davey Electrical & AV to begin securing solar modules immediately.
I have been installing solar systems for several years but this was the first time using ground screws. I will be using No More Digging Wales to install this system going forward as it was done in a day and the area is undisturbed, leaving no mess or landscaping to rectify.
