What is involved in a ground screw test?

Our team will organise a date to visit your site and perform a ground screw test.

This will involve installing at least one ground screw within the installation site for your project – so you'll also get to see how the installation process works. We ask that your site is made completely clear at this time.

Once installed, the time will set up one of our rigorous testing kits to measure the resistance of the ground screw, conducting either a compression or tensile test, depending on the requirements of your project.

These measurements will be recorded and then used to provide the correct specification of ground screws for your project foundations.

Once complete, the ground screw will be removed, all without digging or causing any damage!

Is a ground test required for every project?

Our teams can conduct site-specific surveys and ground tests for any project. However, it is only typically required for larger buildings or where planning requires the detailed specification of ground screw foundations.

If you are unsure if you need a ground test, don't hesitate to get in touch with your local installer, and they'll be happy to guide you.
